Biketoberfest Daytona 2007 - 18/10/2007

Mid-day thursday, and Main Street Daytona starts to fill with Bikes and Trikes of all types, design and colour. Between two to three thousand bikers from all over the world converge into town for this long weekend bike festival.
They come here to celebrate the way of life they love, before putting their bikes away for the winter.No doubt many of them will be planning the next mods to their bikes for next spring, having got some fresh ideas from the bikes on show and those cruising the streets.
I am sure after looking at some of these pictures you will have your own ideas on what looks cool and what is not.

Young or old, fat or thin, male or female, singles, couples and clubs make this annual journey to sunny Florida to soak up a little sun and enjoy an end of season party. Many have travelled hundreds of miles to be here and meet new and old friends.
The highly customised machinery thunders into the street hour after hour as the excitment level builds as more and more bikes and their riders join the fun. A cold beer in any one of the world famous bars and saloons is very welcome as you try to take it all in, it can be almost overwhelming. I know I felt like "I must have died and gone to Vee twin heaven"!
